Dendritic Cell Receptor

Dendritic cells are antigen presenting cells that play a key role in innate immunity. They are also prolific phagocytes, specializing in the uptake of molecules and pathogen-related material. These antigens are broken down and presented to T cells to promote stimulation. Immature DCs may express the chemokine receptors: CCR1, CCR2, CCR5, CCR6 and CXCR1.
