|Each vial contains 191 ng of recombinant Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11. Reconstitute with 1 mL detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20℃ to -80℃ in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 3000 pg/mL is recommended.|
|The minimum detectable dose of Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11 was determined to be approximately 46.88 pg/ml. This is defined as at least three times standard deviations above the mean optical density of 10 replicates of the zero standard.|
|The Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11 ELISA Pair Set is for the quantitative determination of Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11.
The Sino Biological ELISA Pair Set is a solid phase sandwich ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay). It utilizes a monoclonal antibody specific for Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and any Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11 present binds to the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and a horseradish peroxidase conjugated rabbit anti-Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11 polyclonal antibody is then added, producing an antibody-antigen-antibody "sandwich". The wells are again washed and TMB substrate solution is loaded, which produces color in proportion to the amount of Human KLK11 / Kallikrein-11 present in the sample. To end the enzyme reaction, the stop solution is added and absorbances of the microwell are read at 450 nm.

kallikrein-related peptidase 11 (KLK11), also known as hippostasin, trypsin-like serine protease and PRSS20, is a member of human tissue kallikrein family. It is a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological functions, which is implicated in carcinogenesis and some with potential that serving as novel biomarkers for ovarian and prostate cancer and other diseases. The KLK11 gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Two alternatively spliced forms exist, resulting in 250 (isoform 1) and 282 (isoform 2) amino acid sequences. Isoform 2 is identical to isoform 1, except for an inserted 32 amino acid segment. Isoform 1 is predominantly expressed in brain whereas isoform 2 is preferentially expressed in prostate.
