Mouse EPCAM Materials provided
Capture Ab:1.0 mg/mL of rabbit anti-mouse EPCAM monoclonal antibody (in PBS, pH 7.4). Dilute to a working concentration of 2 μg/mL in CBS before coating.
Detection Ab:0.5 mg/mL rabbit anti-mouse EPCAM monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish-peroxidase (HRP) (in PBS, 50 % glycerol, pH 7.4). Dilute to working concentration of 0.5 μg/mL in detection antibody dilution buffer before use.
Standard:Each vial contains 400 ng of recombinant mouse EPCAM. Reconstitute with 1 mL detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20℃ to -80℃ in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 5 ng/mL is recommended.

The Mouse EpCAM / TROP-1 / TACSTD1 ELISA Pair Set is for the quantitative determination of Mouse EpCAM / TROP-1 / TACSTD1.
This ELISA Pair Set contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs.
The Sino Biological ELISA Pair Set is a solid phase sandwich ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay). It utilizes a monoclonal antibody specific for EpCAM / TROP-1 / TACSTD1 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and any EpCAM / TROP-1 / TACSTD1 present binds to the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and a horseradish peroxidase conjugated rabbit anti-EpCAM / TROP-1 / TACSTD1 monoclonal antibody is then added, producing an antibody-antigen-antibody "sandwich". The wells are again washed and TMB substrate solution is loaded, which produces color in proportion to the amount of EpCAM / TROP-1 / TACSTD1 present in the sample. To end the enzyme reaction, the stop solution is added and absorbances of the microwell are read at 450 nm.

Capture Antibody: Aliquot and store at -20℃ to -80℃ for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Detection Antibody: Protect it from prolonged exposure to light. Aliquot and store at -20℃ to -80℃ and for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Standard: Store lyophilized Standard at -20℃ to -80℃ for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Aliquot and store the reconstituted Standard at -80℃ for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

EpCAM/TROP-1/TACSTD1 Background

Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM), also known as GA733-2 antigen, is a type â… transmembrane glycoprotein composed of an extracellular domain with two EGF-Like repeats and a cystenin-rich region, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic domain. It modulates cell adhesion and proliferation. Its overexpression has been detected in many epithelial tumours and has been associated with high stage, high grade and a worse survival in some tumour types. EpCAM has been shown to function as a calcium-independent homophilic cell adhesion molecule that does not exhibit any obvious relationship to the four known cell adhesion molecule superfamilies. However, recent insights have revealed that EpCAM participates in not only cell adhesion, but also in proliferation, migration and differentiation of cells. In addition, recent study revealed that EpCAM is the Wnt-beta-catenin signaling target gene and may be used to facilitate prognosis. It has oncogenic potential and is activated by release of its intracellular domain, which can signal into the cell nucleus by engagement of elements of the wnt pathway.
