Human LSM3 Protein Product Information
Synonym:LSM3
Protein Construction:A DNA sequence encoding the mature form of human LSM3 (Met1-Gly102) was expressed with a polyhistide tag at the N-terminus.
Species:Human
Expressed Host:E. coli
Shipping:In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature.
Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Human LSM3 Protein QC Testing
Purity:> 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Endotoxin:Please contact us for more information.
Stability:Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃
Predicted N Terminal:His
Molecule Mass:The recombinant human LSM3 consists of 117 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 13.7 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 14-18 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Formulation:Lyophilized from sterile PBS, 10% glycerol, pH 7.4
1. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.
2. Please contact us for any concerns or special requirements.
Human LSM3 Protein Usage Guide
Storage:Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information.

LSM3 Background

LSM3 is a member of the snRNP Sm proteins family. Sm-like proteins can be detected in a variety of organisms. They all have the Sm sequence motif, which consists of 2 regions separated by a linker of variable length that folds as a loop. The Sm-like proteins are thought to form a stable heteromer present in tri-snRNP particles, which are important for pre-mRNA splicing. LSM3binds specifically to the 3'-terminal U-tract of U6 snRNA.
