Human Galectin-3/LGALS3 Protein QC Testing
Purity:> 97 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Bio-Activity:Measured by its ability to agglutinate human red blood cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 3-15 μg/ml.
Endotoxin:< 5 EU per 1 mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Stability:Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃
Predicted N Terminal:Met 1
Molecule Mass:The recombinant human Galectin3 consisting of 250 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 26.1 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 30 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Formulation:Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4
1. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.
2. Please contact us for any concerns or special requirements.
Human Galectin-3/LGALS3 Protein Usage Guide
Storage:Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information.
