Preparation:This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human CHL-1 (rhCHL-1; Catalog#10143-H08H; NP_006605.2; Met 1-Gln 1080). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Specificity:Human CHL-1
No cross-reactivity with Human cell lysate (293 cell line) in WB and ELISA.

ELISA: 1-2 μg/mL

This antibody can be used at 1-2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect CHL1-His. The detection limit for CHL1-His is approximately 0.078 ng/well.

Storage:This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -80℃. Preservative-Free.
Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Neural cell adhesion molecule L1-like protein, also known as close homolog of L1 (CHL1) is the prototypic member of the CTF / NF-1 family of transcription factors that serve as a novel calcium signaling pathway-responsive transcription factor and is considered as a member of the largest ctf complementation group, consisting of 30 of 126 ctf mutants isolated. CHL1 is a cell adhesion molecule highly related to L1. It contains structure plan of six extracellular C2-type immunoglobulin (Ig) domains followed by five fibronectin typeⅢ domains linked by a single membrane-spanning region to a short cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular portion of CHL1 is higyly glycosylated and involved them in hemophilic disease.
