TNFRSF19 Antibody Usage Guide
|
Specificity : |
Mouse TNFRSF19 |
|
No cross-reactivity in ELISA with Human RELT Human DR6 Mouse FAS Mouse HVEM Mouse CD27 |
|
| Western blot : | This antibody can be used at 1-2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse TNFRSF19 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Mouse TNFRSF19 is approximately 2 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions. Use of this antibody under reducing conditions is not recommended. |
| Direct ELISA : | This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Mouse TNFRSF19. The detection limit for Mouse TNFRSF19 is approximately 0.00245 ng/well. |
| Storage : | This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |

TNFRSF19 Antibody Background
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 19, also known as, Toxicity and JNK inducer, TNFRSF19, TRADE and Troy, is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily and contains 3TNFR-Cys repeats. TNFRSF19 is highly expressed in adult brain, and in embryos from day 11-17, but not earlier. It is detected in embryonic brain and epithelium, and at lower levels in adult heart, lung and liver. In neonatal mice, TNFRSF19 is mainly expressed in hair follicles and neuron-like cells in the cerebellum, but not in the skin epidermis. TNFRSF19 has been shown to interact with TRAF family members, and to activate JNK signaling pathway when overexpressed in cells. This receptor is capable of inducing apoptosis by a caspase-independent mechanism, and it is thought to play an essential role in embryonic development. TNFRSF19 is the first TNFRSF member that is identified as a biomarker for melanoma. TNFRSF19 also presents a potentially novel cell surface signaling target for inhibitors, cell and/or antibody-based immunotherapies.
