ST6GAL1 / CD75 Antibody Product Information
| Immunogen : |
Recombinant Human ST6GAL1 / CD75 protein (Catalog#11590-H07H) |
| Antibody Type : | Mouse Monoclonal Antibody ( Mouse mAb Service Platform ) |
|
Clone ID : |
05 |
| Ig Type : |
Mouse IgG1 |
| Formulation : | 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with 5% trehalose |
| Preparation : |
This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human ST6GAL1 / CD75 (rh ST6GAL1 / CD75; Catalog#11590-H07H; P15907; Lys 27-Cys406). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. |
ST6GAL1 / CD75 Antibody Usage Guide
|
Specificity : |
Human ST6GAL1 / CD75 |
|
No cross-reactivity in ELISA with Human cell lysate (293 cell line) |
|
| Direct ELISA : | This antibody can be used at 0.5-1 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human ST6GAL1. The detection limit for Human ST6GAL1 is approximately 0.16 ng/well. |
| Storage : | This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |

ST6GAL1 / CD75 Antibody Background
Beta-galactoside alpha-2,6-sialyltransferase 1, also known as B-cell antigen CD75, Sialyltransferase 1, CMP-N-acetylneuraminate-beta-galactosamide-alpha-2,6- sialyltransferase 1, ST6GAL1 and SIAT1, is a single-pass type II membrane protein which belongs to the glycosyltransferase 29 family. Sialyltransferases are key enzymes in the biosynthesis of sialoglycoconjugates that catalyze the transfer of sialic residue from its activated form to an oligosaccharidic acceptor. ST6GAL1 / SIAT1 is normally found in theGolgibut which can be proteolytically processed to a soluble form. It is involved in the generation of the cell-surface carbohydrate determinants and differentiation antigens HB-6, CDw75, and CD76. β-Galactoside α2,6-sialyltransferases ST6GAL1 and ST6GAL2 are the two unique members of the ST6GAL family described in higher vertebrates. ST6GAL1 / SIAT1 transfers sialic acid from the donor of substrate CMP-sialic acid to galactose containing acceptor substrates.
