IL6ST / gp130 / CD130 Protein Product Information
| Synonym : | Il6st,5133400A03Rik, AA389424, BB405851, CD130, D13Ertd699e, gp130 |
| Protein Construction: | A DNA sequence encoding the mouse gp130 (NP_034690.3) extracellular domain (Met 1-Glu 617) was fused with the C-terminal polyhistidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus. |
| Source: | Mouse |
| Expression Host: | Human Cells |
IL6ST / gp130 / CD130 Protein QC Testing
| Purity: | > 90 % as determined by SDS-PAGE. | SDS-PAGE:![]() IL6ST / gp130 / CD130 protein |
| Bio-activity: |
Measured by its ability to inhibit the IL6 Rα enhancement of IL6 activity on M1 mouse myeloid leukemia cells (Saito, T. et al. 1991, J. Immunol. 147:168.). The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.03-0.15 μg/ml in the presence of 10 ng/ml recombinant human IL6sR and 20 ng/ml recombinant human IL6. |
|
| Endotoxin: | < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method | |
| Stability: | Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃ | |
| Predicted N terminal: | Glu 19 | |
| Molecular Mass: | The recombinant mouse gp130/Fc chimera is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer consists of 843 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 94.7 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rm gp130/Fc monomer is approximately 120-130 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. | |
| Formulation: | Lyophilized from sterile PBS , pH 7.4
|
IL6ST / gp130 / CD130 Protein Usage Guide
| Storage: | Store it under sterile conditions at -70℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
| Reconstitution: | A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information. |
