CD300C Antibody Usage Guide
|
Specificity : |
Human CD300C |
| Direct ELISA : | This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human CD300C. The detection limit for Human CD300C is approximately 0.00245 ng/well. |
| Storage : | This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |

CD300C Antibody Background
CMRF35-like molecule 6, also known as CD300 antigen-like family member C, Immunoglobulin superfamily member 16, CMRF35-A1, CD300C and CMRF35, is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to theCD300 family. CD300c / CMRF-35 contains oneIg-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain. CD300c / CMRF-35 is present on the surface of monocytes, neutrophils, a proportion of peripheral blood T-lymphocytes and B-lymphocytes and lymphocytic cell lines. The CD300c (CMRF-35A) and CD300a (CMRF-35H) molecules are leukocyte surface proteins that are part of a larger family of immunoregulatory molecules encoded by a gene complex on human chromosome 17. The CD300a protein contains four ITIMs and is highly homologous to CD300c. CD300a/c RNA and surface expression were downregulated after stimulation of plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) with TLR7 and TLR9 ligands. Exogenous interferon (IFN)-alpha down-regulated CD300a/c expression, whereas neutralizing IFN-alpha abolished TLR ligand-induced CD300a/c down-regulation. CD300a and CD300c play an important role in the cross-regulation of TNF-alpha and IFN-alpha secretion from pDCs. CD300a and CD300c are indistinguishable on the surface of NK cells.
