CD27 / TNFRSF7 Protein Product Information

Synonym : S152, Tnfrsf7, Tp55
Protein Construction: A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain ( Met 1 - Arg 182 ) of mouse CD27 ( NP_001028298.1 ) was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus
Source: Mouse
Expression Host: Human Cells

CD27 / TNFRSF7 Protein QC Testing

Purity: > 96 % as determined by SDS-PAGE SDS-PAGE:
TNFRSF7 protein

TNFRSF7 protein

Bio-activity:

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.
Immobilized recombinant mouse CD27 at 2 μg/mL ( 100 μl/well ) can bind human CD70 with a linear range of  78 - 1250 pg/ml
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Stability: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃
Predicted N terminal: Thr 21
Molecular Mass:

The recombinant mouse CD27 consists of 173 amino acids after removal of the signal peptide and has a predicted molecular mass of 19.6 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, rmCD27 migrates as an approximately 35 kDa band due to glycosylation

Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS , pH 7.4
  1. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose and mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA.
  2. Please contact us for any concerns or special requirements.

CD27 / TNFRSF7 Protein Usage Guide

Storage: Store it under sterile conditions at -70℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution: A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information.

CD27 / TNFRSF7 Protein Description

Mouse CD27, also known as TNFRSF7, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily characterized by the presence of a Cys-knot motif in the extracellular region, which occurs three times in CD27. CD27 is a type I  transmembrane glycoprotein of about 55 kDa existing as disulfide-linked homodimer, and has been shown to play roles in lymphoid proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. CD27 has been defined as a T and B cell co-stimulatory molecule, and its activity is governed by the transient availability of its TNF-like ligand CD70 on lymphocytes and dendritic cells. In man and mouse, CD27 is restricted to lymphoid cells and present on the great majority of naive CD4+ and CD8 + T cells. CD27 may contribute to normal murine T cell development by synergizing with the pre-TCR-mediated signal, since the CD27/CD70 receptor-ligand pair cooperates with the TCR in the regulation of the peripheral T cell response. Murine CD27 shows an identity of 65% in aa sequence compared with human CD27.
