• Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, human cell-derived, recombinant human CD16a ( rhCD16a ; Catalog#10389-H08H ; NP_001121068.1 ; Met 1- Gln 208 ). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

• Specificity: Human CD16a / FCGR3A / FcRIIIa
• Has cross-reactivity with human CD16b, human CD32a and human CD32b in ELISA

  No cross-reactivity with human cell lysate (293 cell line) in ELISA.

• Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0 μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human CD16a. The detection limit for human CD16a is approximately 0.625 ng/well
• Storage: This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free.
  Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

CD16a / FCGR3A / FcRIIIa Antibody Background

CD16 (Fcγ RIII) is a multifunctional,low/intermediate affinity receptor. In human, CD16 is expressed as two distinct forms (CD16a and CD16b) encoded by two different highly homologous genes in a cell type-specific manner. CD16a is an intermediate affinity polypeptide-anchored transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by a subset of T lymphocytes, natural killer (NK) cells, monocytes, and macrophages. CD16a has an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) in its cytoplasmic domain and delivers an activation signal in the immune responses. As an inflammatory mediator, CD16a receptor is involved in phagocytosis, secretion of enzymes, antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC), mast cell degranulation, and clearance of immune complexes.
